In order to meet the growing housing needs of people of Peshawar, decision has been taken to establish a new township which would be spread over an area of 14 thousand acres. It will have 80 thousand plots of various sizes. The estimated cost of the project is Rupees one trillion and forty billion. The project will be completed in stages after acquisition of land. This township will be five times the size of Hayatabad Town and the Peshawar Development Authority has been tasked to acquire land, improve infrastructure and improve the performance of WAPDA, sui gas and telephone departments.
